Last month we found ourselves in the midst of a heavy snow and ice storm. I wrote this song in the midst of that storm while praying fervently for our sisters and brothers holding space at Standing Rock. It is a prayer of hope for healing during difficult times when we find our hearts on icy roads. I recorded this today just before the power went out here. We have found ourselves in the midst of another ice storm, so it seemed the right time to share.
